Managing a large database-driven application was the goal in designing the HCIdea website. With several million records of industry-specific data, the website's top requirement was speed. Another challenge was designing the user interface of the promotional side of the website.

Linear Concepts achieved the speed goal by carefully designing and optimizing the Microsoft SQL Server database. The website's promotional pages used a blend of an artistic flair and DHTML to reinforce the HCIdea brand while presenting the user with a fast-loading interface that was clean, functional and intuitive.
